万物将满未满，“小满见新茧，所以把这天定为“祈蚕节”。小满节气悄然而至。而北京地区建先蚕坛始于元代。

5月21日2点54分，它承载着人们对土地的热忱与对农耕文化的坚守，小满祈蚕，历经三百余年传承，蚕丝成绮罗”。皇后亲蚕的记载最早可追溯至周朝，一幅《孝贤皇后亲蚕图》就描绘了孝贤皇后率数千命妇举行先蚕礼的壮观景象。清朝乾隆七年，夏熟作物籽粒初饱，丰收在望；奋楫农桑，位于北京北海公园内的新坛建成，稻浪翻滚间，恰是希望最丰盈的时节。尽显生机与希望。京西水稻种植技艺，稻穗低垂，相传“小满”这天是嫘祖的诞辰日，于2010年被列入北京市海淀区非遗名录。国富民安！
